Before you reserve

Is this covered by insurance?

No. NutritionRx is a direct-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Your $375 consultation is HSA / FSA eligible, and an itemized superbill is provided on request so you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

What if I’m not local to Boston or New York?

Virtual consultations are available for residents of states where Alexis is licensed (MA & NY). If you’re outside those states, NutritionRx can still review your case and refer you to an aligned clinician where you live, at no charge if not a fit.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancel or reschedule for any reason up to 24 hours before your consultation and receive a full refund. Within 24 hours, we ask for a one-time reschedule fee of $75 to cover Alexis’s reserved time.

What happens after the 60 minutes?

You receive a written summary of the consultation and Alexis’s recommendations within 48 hours. If your case is a fit, you’ll be invited into ongoing NutritionRx care. Treatment plan, medication management alongside your prescribing physician, and long-term partnership. Next steps are discussed only after the consultation, never before.
